The Phoenix Rising Kodi addon is one of the best addons for Kodi. It is a new version of Phoenix, and brings tons of new features. In this guide, we will show you how to install Phoenix Rising on Kodi, updated to the latest version.

The Phoenix Rises Kodi Addon is a unique and powerful Kodi addon that allows you to watch movies and TV shows at a low cost. The addon offers some of the most renowned movies and TV shows at a reasonable price. The addon is currently in beta stage, so it hasn’t been updated for quite some time. However, it hasn’t stopped the users from trying out the add-on and trying to give it a fair chance. Below, the guide for installing The Phoenix Rises Kodi Addon.

In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to install the Phoenix Rises addon on Kodi. The installation instructions work on all devices that support Kodi including FireStick and Fire TV Cube, Android mobile devices, iOS, Android TVs and set-top boxes, computers, etc.

At the time of writing, Phoenix Rises is a relatively new addon. It currently offers excellent performance and many streaming options. It is a versatile addition with streaming categories for movies, shows, live streaming, sports and more.

With the Kodi Phoenix Rises addon, you also get access to many other Kodi addons like Leviathan, 1 Click, Eyasess Reloaded, etc. This means you don’t have to install these addons separately if you have Phoenix Rises.

Compatibility with Real Debrid gives you access to many premium and quality streams. So that’s a plus. I’ve added a separate section on how to set up Real Debrid with Phoenix Rises.

If you have problems with slow browsing due to metadata management, there is also a separate chapter on disabling metadata in this guide.

Update: Phoenix Rises is no longer available. Try one of the other addons from our list of recommended addons for Kodi.

Attention KODI users: please read before continuing

Kodi addons / modules offer unlimited streaming content, but can also get you in legal trouble if you get caught watching movies / TV shows / sports for free. Kodi users are strongly advised to always connect a VPN when streaming online. A good Kodi VPN can hide your identity, bypass government surveillance, block content, and ISP throttling (which also contributes to buffer-free streaming).

I use ExpressVPN, which is the fastest and most secure VPN. It is very easy to install on any device, including the Amazon FireStick. Get 3 months free and save 49% on annual plans. There is also a 30 day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, you can always ask for a refund.

How do I install the Phoenix Rises addon on Kodi

Installing the Phoenix Rises addon is no different than installing any other Kodi addon. It involves adding a source link, installing a repository and installing an addon from the repository. And like any addon, Kodi needs to be configured first to allow installation.

Here’s what you need to do first:

1 : Start the Kodi application on your device

This is the home screen. In the top left corner, below the Kodi logo, you’ll see several buttons. Press the central gear button and open the Kodi settings.

2 : In this window, navigate to the option called System

3 : This is the window you should see now

Select or move the cursor to the Extras item in the left-hand menu.

4 : The corresponding options are displayed on the right. One of them is Unknown Sources.

If it’s turned off, click on it and turn it on.

5 : You should now see the following warning message or prompt

Press Yes.

Here is how to set up Kodi to install the Phoenix Rises addon.

Installation steps

Perform the following steps:

Just click on one of the pictures

3 : This will display a tooltip in the Kodi user interface.

Here you need to click where you see <No>.

4 : The following keyboard screen should appear

Enter the following URL (and make sure you enter it correctly): http://teamfalcon.exposed/repository.

Check the URL again

Press OK.

5 : You are returned to the prompt where you clicked <No>.

Now select the field in which you want to enter the name of the source medium.

By default, it already has an archive name. You can keep the default name or choose another media name.

I’m going to call it a hawk.

Press OK.

6 : You now want to return to the Settings menu.

Click on Add-ons

7 : Select and open the Install from zip file option.

8 : You should see a screen like the one in the following illustration

Here you will find the name of the source you selected earlier.

Click on the name (like me on the falcon).

9 : In the next window you will find a zip file named repository.FalconRepo.zip.

Go ahead and click it.

10 : This will install the archive. It’ll take a few seconds.

Wait until the notification that the Falcon Repo add-on is installed appears in the upper right corner.

11 : Now open the Install from archive option

12 : Then click on the Falcon repo repository we installed earlier.

13 : In this window, open the Video Add-ons option.

14 : Go ahead and click on Phoenix Rising

15 : You will see the following window

Click on the Install option in the lower right corner.

Before you start streaming video with Kodi addons or modules, I want to warn you that everything you stream on Kodi is visible to your ISP and the government. This means that streaming copyrighted content (free movies, TV shows, live broadcasts and sports) can lead to legal problems.

Fortunately, there is a reliable way to hide all your streaming activities from your ISP and the government. All you need is a good VPN for Kodi. A VPN masks your original IP address and helps you bypass Internet monitoring, ISP restrictions, and geographic content limitations.

Personally, I use and recommend ExpressVPN, the fastest and most secure VPN. It is compatible with all types of applications and streaming devices.

OPINION: We do not encourage copyright infringement. But what if you accidentally upload content from an illegal source? It is not always easy to distinguish between a legal and an illegal source.

So before you start streaming on Kodi, read here how to get VPN protection in 3 easy steps.

Step one: Purchase your ExpressVPN subscription HERE. It comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. This means you can use it for free for the first 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the service (which is unlikely), you can ask for a full refund.

Step two: Click HERE to download and install the ExpressVPN application on your streaming device. If you are using a FireStick, I have included the exact steps below, starting with step 4.

Step three: Click on the power icon to connect to the VPN server. That’s it. Now your connection is secure with the fastest and best VPN for Kodi.

The steps to install Kodi VPN on Fire TV devices are described below. If you have other broadcast devices, follow steps 1 to 3 above.

Step four: Sign up for ExpressVPN HERE (if you are not already a subscriber).

Step 5: Go to the Fire TV Stick home screen. Click the Search button and then the Search option (see figure below).

Step six: Type expressvpn into the search bar and select when it appears.

Seventh step: Click on the Download button.

Step 8: Open the ExpressVPN application and log in using the username and password you created when you purchased your ExpressVPN subscription.

Step 9: Click on the power icon to connect to the VPN server. That’s it. Now your FireStick is protected with the fastest VPN.

Supplement

As I write this guide, the Kodi Phoenix Rises addon is working perfectly. There are many streaming categories that offer access to movies, shows, kids content, sports, live streaming and more. It’s an all-in-one addon. Other add-ons like Leviathan, 1 Click, etc. are also accessible from Phoenix Rises. Overall, Phoenix Rises is a good option to try.
